Meet The Team

Tim Raes

CEO

Tim has over 18 years of banking and finance experience in Australia and overseas.
‍
He has a master’s degree in finance, holds diplomas in accounting and mortgage broking, and is a licenced broker with the Finance Brokers Association of Australia Ltd (FBAA).

Tim is the appointed Responsible Manager under the Australian financial services licence.

In his spare time, Tim is an accomplished clarinettist and has played with multiple local orchestras in Australia and Asia.

Paul Truong

Mortgage Broker

Paul joined Urbane Finance in 2023, and his mission is to make the loan application process as simple as possible for clients.

He is based in our Melbourne office and has 12 years of experience in residential, commercial and self-managed super fund (SMSF) lending, so he can help you navigate the many options to find a lender and product that is suitable for your goals.

Paul’s significant experience in banking, lending, and financial planning means that you’re in good hands.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and going for long walks with his Golden Retriever Reggie.

Kuldeep Singh

Client Services Manager

Kuldeep is our Client Services Manager, with 15 years of diverse finance and banking experience.

His primary responsibility is to ensure our back-end operations and loan applications are processed promptly and accurately.

He‘s been in Melbourne since early 2022 and his extensive finance experience makes him an excellent liaison between our clients, our team and our lender partners.

In his spare time, Kuldeep enjoys cooking, driving holidays, and writing blog posts.
